Ian Day, the owner had installed an alternative system in 2005 but was becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of functionality the software had to offer. After some research Ian came across the Care Management System from Ablyss.
Immediately I was struck by the intuitive way in which it had been built and the breadth of the functionality it supported.

Hillcroft Nursing Homes are a collection of six homes in Lancashire which offer residential care for a variety of different areas including frail, elderly, mentally infirm and for challenging behaviour.

Due to the highly specialised nature of the care provide, Rod Tarry, the owner, did not expect to be able to find a software system that would be able to cater for his needs.

Alpha Care Ltd
A group of care homes specialising in dementia care for residents who are in the mild to moderate stages of dementia. The homes are both run and managed by Prash Patel who aims to provide an environment as close to home as possible.
Our homes are based in different areas and each county's administrative bodies' can ask for different reports or paperwork. I am able to comply easily by using CMS
Excel Care Holdings
Excelcare currently has 32 residential care and nursing homes within their organisation. Each Care Home within the group works to its maximum potential to provide excellent personal care standards to their residents.
CMS is now used across 26 of the group's homes with the vast majority using the desktop or the touch-screen version.

Part of the Abbeyfield Society, this home provides both residential and nursing care for 31 frail and elderly residents.
Afraid of being left behind, Halcyon House made the decision in 2014 to computerise their care recording. They run a combination of CMS Desktop and CMS Tablet and the time taken to complete a care plan review has reduced in time from 2 hours to 10 minutes since adopting the Ablyss CMS system
