Care Plans & Risk Assessments
The Care Plans within CMS are based around templates. A number are provided with CMS but you are also able to design your own. This helps to both standardise and expedite your data entry. Once created, the plans are under continual review and reminders in the diary mean you will never miss a deadline. Each evaluation and change to the care plan is stored in a historical trail allowing you to easily see a plans progression. With the introduction of the Mental Capacity Act, you can now carry out a capacity assessment for each each individual care plan, should the need arise.

Daily Care
Entries are automatically added to the daily care when key events are recorded elsewhere in the system, such as when a care plan is evaluated. You can also log general observations and copy these to multiple residents for time saving data entry. Overall this section provides a snapshot of the resident's ongoing care over a period of time.

Reviews
Keep track of any reviews from social workers though to hospital consultants and record their progress.
